Use this guide to take you through step-by-step in successfully logging in to Ascent One.
Prerequisite: Your Ascent One business owner, administrator or any product owner has created a login for you.
1. Sign In
In this first step to logging in to Ascent One, provide your email address.
Click next after providing a valid email address.
If unable to move past this screen by clicking the Next button, then one of these is true:
- You do not have an account set up in Ascent One system
- If in the past you were able to log in, then your account is locked or disabled by your Ascent One administrator
- Your organisation no longer have access to Ascent One subscription
ReCAPTCHA: This would be visible when either the email address is incorrect or too many incorrect login attempts are made. Click the checkbox before I’m not a robot.
Using Mobile Number to log in – It is possible to use a mobile number instead of email if this option is enabled by your organisational Ascent One owner or administrator. In this case, enter your country code (CC) and then mobile number without the preceding zero, e.g. for mobile number 0411123456 in Australia, enter 61411123456
Enter the password associated with the provided email or mobile number in the previous step.
Press next to continue
Sent OTP to mobile or email: If this option is visible, you could receive a One Time Pin (OTP) in mobile or email instead of entering a password. Enter this six-digit pin on provided screen to log into Ascent One. This option is only visible if enabled by Ascent One administrator.
Verification link to mobile or email: A link is sent to your nominated email or mobile similar to OTP. Click that link and press continue on provided screen. This option is only visible if enabled by Ascent One administrator.
Reset Password: Use this option if you have forgotten the password—further details are below in Step 5.
ReCAPTCHA – This would be visible when too many incorrect login attempts are made. Click the checkbox before I’m not a robot.
3. Entering OTP to Login
If available and selected in the prior screen, this option allows receiving a One Time Pin, a six-digit pin in email or SMS to enter in this screen.
Provide a correct pin and click the Next button.
You can request a new pin after 30 seconds.
4. Using a Link to Login
If available and selected in the prior screen, this option allows receiving a web link in email or SMS. Click that link and the next button here.
After clicking the web link in email or SMS, click the Next button.
You can request a new weblink after 30 seconds.
5. Reset Password
Selecting this option on the password entering screen allows resetting your forgotten password.
To proceed, accept the reCAPTCHA checkbox and click the Next button.
One Time Pin (OTP) would be sent to your nominated email or mobile. Enter that on the above visible screen. If required, request a new OTP after 30 seconds.
To proceed, enter the OTP and click the Next button.
The presented screen would allow entering a new password. Once done, log in to Ascent One using the newly created password.
6. Lodge Support Request
If unable to self-resolve logging in to Ascent One, you could raise a support ticket by clicking the button below.
